AAFP Conference Media Policy
The AAFP Conference is a professional event and not open to the public. The AAFP welcomes press at the educational sessions and exhibits during its annual conference. Press badges do not allow access to events that require separate registration. All press members must wear their name badge at all times and the badge must be easily viewable. Members of the press must identify themselves as such prior to posing a question in an open forum or directly with anyone at the conference including attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff, Board Members, and sponsors. All interviews must be coordinated with Sarah Nathans, Operations Director at [email protected] or (908) 359-9351.
Qualifications for a Press Badge:
Journalists or working media for the sole purpose of collecting and disseminating veterinary information for their publications/outlets.
Who Does Not Qualify for a Press Badge:
Advertising, Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations representatives (even if you are representing an exhibiting company).
How to Obtain a Press Badge:
If you’d like to receive a press badge, email Ashley Castore ([email protected]) with the following info:

- Full Address
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Your Intent for Attending AAFP’s Annual Conference
Cost of Press Badges:
Press must receive prior approval in order to receive a complimentary press badge. The AAFP reserves the right to approve or deny press badges at any time before or during the annual conference. Photo identification may be requested onsite.
